Quality policy

Quality Policy of Company ECOMED S.A. is summarized in the following points:

 

1.    Company products to meet customer requirements.

2.    The quality of the Company’s products to comply with current standards (Greek, International or Internal) and applicable legislation.

3.   Continuous improvement of the quality of the products and services provided.

 

For quality policy implementation, the Company has developed a Quality Management System according to the requirements of standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 of European Directive 93/42/ΕΟΚ/14-6-93 and Ministerial Decisions ΚΥΑ ΔΥ8δ/130648/09 και ΔΥ 8/1348/04.

Τo verify compliance with the above European and national requirements, ECOMED has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the NATIONAL CENTER EVALUATION OF QUALITY AND TECHNOLOGY IN HEALTH (EKAPTY SA) as a Certification Body and Notified Body in Europe. EKAPTY makes annual inspections of the Quality System, the product file documentation and the company’s facilities, to verify continued compliance with the above requirements.

The Company is committed to compliance and continual improvement of the effectiveness of the Quality Management System by providing the necessary resources and carry out reviews by the Top Management.

 

Essential prerequisite for the successful operation and improvement of the Quality System is the involvement of all personnel who, through constant and systematic information, have embraced the vital importance of quality.

 

The responsibility for the proper operation and improvement of the Quality Management System has been assigned to the Quality Manager, who represents the Top Management.
